D.C. United SOCCER GEOGRAPHY is a lesson plan based activity kit, developed for hands-on use in the classroom. Each packet contains reproducible materials including weekly lesson plans and desk maps, a teacher's guide, an answer key, reference pages, and extra credit activities -- all designed to follow D.C. United during its 2010 Major League Soccer season. This program is ideal for grades 4 through 8. Materials address Virginia SOL for Social Studies and Maryland's Voluntary State Curriculum guidelines for Social Studies. Teachers may register by e-mail (see below).
