SPORTING GEOGRAPHY® is an educational outreach program that offers a motivational way for students to learn while having fun. The program helps children learn geography, history, and math. The material is targeted for students at the elementary and middle school level, specifically in grades four through eight (ages 9-14). The program is distributed to teachers, in workbook format, for use in the classroom. Programs can range from 10 weeks to a full season. Materials are free thanks to participating teams and their sponsors.
Teams, Conferences, and Associations from across the United States currently participate in the program. Thousands of classrooms are reached each week through SPORTING GEOGRAPHY materials and promotions.
